The Notte Rossa Wine was created to be a direct player in the market with the promise, to consumers, of transmitting the magic and warmth of a magnificent territory. Notte Rossa in fact transmits the warmth of the land of Primitivo di Manduria.

In Salento, Notte Rossa wines benefit from long summers and cool night breezes which help to grow high-quality grapes. In these particular conditions, the red grapes have adapted very well and still represent the fulcrum of Apulian viticulture today.

The estate mainly cultivates Primitivo and Negroamaro grapes, offered in different versions from the youngest and most fragrant to the prestigious Reserves. In addition to the two red grapes, the vineyards also include Malvasia Nera di Brindisi, Verdeca, and Fiano.

The white grapes are grown in the hilly area of Taranto, at an altitude of about 150 meters above sea level. The red grapes have found their natural habitat in the red, calcareous, and sandy earth of the flat area closest to the sea. Thanks to careful work in the cellar and a delicate winemaking process, the Notte Rossa wines are authentic and grandiose.

Today Notte Rossa wines are in great demand in the Italian and international markets thanks to their wide range, the possibility of gastronomic combinations, and the excellent value for money.

NOTTE ROSSA VINO: THE ASSORTMENT

Notte Rossa Primitivo di Manduria DOP is a red Apulian wine that comes from the lands of Salento. The grapes are harvested in the second week of September and the vinification involves a maceration of about 10 days. The Notte Rossa Primitivo di Manduria wine ages in French American oak barrels for a period of about 5/6 months. The nose shows marked notes of red fruit, cherry and black cherry jam, nuances of tobacco, and sweet spices. The texture is dense with great intensity and hints of cocoa and vanilla.

Primitivo di Manduria Notte Rossa reveals its fragrant, fruity and drinkable soul. The smell of fresh herbs, red fruits, plums, and floral essences gives it a special aroma. This Salento red wine is very fresh and savory. An excellent wine to be enjoyed with robust dishes such as lamb, steaks, game, and in general with spicy dishes.

Vino Notte Rossa Primitivo Rosato IGP is confirmed as one of the best rosé wines. Produced from Primitivo grapes selected in the vineyard followed by a soft pressing, partial racking of the must after maceration for a few hours, and subsequent fermentation in white. This Primitivo Notte Rossa Salento IGP wine ages in stainless steel tanks and has a bright pale pink color, with intense notes of Mediterranean scrub, with hints of cherry and raspberry. On the palate, it is fresh and mineral, elegant and balanced.

Notte Rossa Negroamaro Salento IGP is produced from 100% Negroamaro grapes and aged in steel. It is soft and balanced with a long and pleasant finish. The Negroamaro Notte Rossa has intense and persistent aromas of black currants and hints of wild berries. It goes well with savory first courses, meats, or aged cheeses.

The fresh and light Notte Rossa Fiano Salento Bianco IGP wine is a pure expression of Salento. The wine is lively and drinkable, with a pleasant sapidity and medium minerality. It has a brilliant straw yellow color and floral notes stand out on the nose combined with hints of fresh exotic fruit. Ideal for seafood: raw shellfish, mixed appetizers, first courses with fish sauces.

Notte Rossa Verdeca Puglia IGP is a white wine produced only with Verdeca grapes, a type of native vine of the Taranto area of Salento. It has a floral and fruity aroma with hints of honey. This sensational Notte Rossa wine is light, pleasant, and refreshing with a long, mineral finish.
